Unanswered Prayers

Many times in our life, we came across time of difficulties, despair and disappointment.
Sometimes, it really makes us think: Is the God, whom we believe is listening to us? Some blame God for this kind of thing...Some keep their faith strong and pray till something really happen...
Below are some of the quotes that I found quite encouraging during difficult times.

*If God doesn't seem to be giving you what you ask, maybe he's giving you something else. (Frederick Buechner)

*Trusting God completely means having faith that He knows what is best for your life. (Rick Warren)

*The deepest level of worship is praising God in spite of pain, thanking God during a trial, trusting him when tempted, surrendering while suffering, and loving him when he seems distant. (Rick Warren)

*Be patient with God and with yourself. One of life's frustration is that God's timetable is rarely the same as ours. We are often in a hurry when God isn't You may feel frustrated with the seemingly slow progress you're making in life. Remember that God is never in a hurry, but He is always on time. He will use your entire lifetime to prepare you for your role in eternity. (Rick Warren)

*Faith is to believe what we do not see, and the reward of this faith is to see what we believe. (Saint Augustine)

*God often deals with our problems & difficulties, not by removing them, but by giving us a greater vision of Himself. This may not remove the irritating circumstances, but it deepens our convictions that God knows what he is doing. (Selwyn Huges)

*Where is God when it hurts? He is in us - not in the things that hurt - helping to transform bad into good. We can safely say that God can bring good out of evil; we cannot say that God brings about the evil in hopes of producing good. (Phillip Yancey)

*When we stubbornly cling to God in a time of hardship, or when we simply pray, more - much more - may be involved than we ever dream. It requires faith to believe that, and faith to trust that we are never abandoned, no matter how distant God seems. (Yancey my man)

*We must never forget that God's silences are not his rejections. They are preparation for a greater revelation of him. (Carolyn McCulley)

*God does not keep a man from trouble; He says:"I will be with him in trouble." (Oswald Chambers)
